Chapter 2: Inside Out

"I wasn’t an ugly girl, I was Ugly Girl." - So Ursula Riggs introduced herself as Ugly Girl, which is her nickname at Rocky River High School. But for Ursula it became more than just a name. It's kinda like a second personality she lives. Ursula Riggs: "an excellent student" and Ugly Girl: "who had a sullen, sarcastic tongue". While reading chapter 2 Ugly Girl let us know about her match against Tarrytown and how she feels when she is getting worse and worse in the second part of the match until her team lose the game.

I think the character of "Ugly Girl" Ursula Riggs is very interesting as she has good conditions to be a round character. She has a high personality complexity, which makes it difficult to understand her acts everytime. And this is the reason why she become apparent for me. Besides, it was very interesting for me to take seat in Ursula's head seeing the world through the eyes of a girl like no other.
