Chapter 24: The First Contact

Ursula walks in the nature preserve as she sees Matt standing on the top of a ravine looking into it like hypnotized. And because of Ursula's sense of courage, she is trying to not let happen what she thinks Matt wanna do now (he is actually playing with the idea to commit suicide). Thus she speaks with him attempting to develop a discussion, which would avoid Matt to jump into the ravine. In general it's a weird situation, a weird first contact. But at the end Ursula could move Matt to come down and the chapter ends with Matt grabbing Ursula's hand - strongly.

Interesting about this chapter is the play between Ursula and Matt, which you can generalize to "How can I stop someone commiting suicide?". It's a psychologic game, which only can be won by precalculating the right moves.
